Texas is leading the fight to restore America’s soul, and the left can’t stand it. The Lone Star State just took a bold step that has secular activists wringing their hands—bringing the Bible back into its public schools. The state is rolling out a required reading list packed with over 200 pieces straight from the Good Book, seamlessly woven through K-12 education. For decades, liberals have forced God out of classrooms, delivering us to the chaos and confusion we see in schools today. Now Texas is daring to say what elites won’t: our nation was built on biblical truth, and ignoring it is tearing us apart.
For over 150 years, students across America read the Bible each day in public school. That all changed in 1963, when activist judges decided kids couldn’t even begin the day with a prayer or discuss Scripture as a staple in class. Ever since, we’ve seen moral decline, shredded discipline, and a curriculum more interested in pushing leftist dogma than actual learning. Schools swapped the Ten Commandments for government-sanctioned secularism—teaching kids to reject their faith, sneer at their history, and worship at the altar of political correctness.
The left’s objections to the Texas plan are as tired as they are hypocritical. These same activists demand every radical idea—gender theory, Marxist race doctrine, and hyper-sexualized curriculum—be jammed into kindergarten, yet shriek at the idea of kids reading about courage, virtue, or real forgiveness. They scream about the “Separation of Church and State,” but federal law allows the Bible to be taught as literature and history, not as preaching. Let’s be real: the reason they’re scared is because biblical values threaten their iron grip over American minds.
Woke bureaucrats claim they want “inclusion,” demanding every faith get equal attention, but America’s roots are different. The Bible guided the minds of our Founders. The Pilgrims saw the New World as a covenant with God, the Declaration and Constitution drew directly from Scriptural morality, and leaders like Adams and Washington flat-out warned that freedom can’t survive without faith. The left ignores this history because it doesn’t fit their anti-American agenda.
Our schools are failing. Reading scores are in the gutter, barely a third of eighth-graders even know the basics of American history. We’ve replaced reading and thinking with indoctrination—social emotional learning, “equity” nonsense, and mental health mantras that churn out angry, entitled, anti-American youth. It’s no accident. The left gutted our classrooms of the very values that made the West great—personal responsibility, hope, persistence through struggle, faith in a higher good.
Texas is reclaiming that lost ground. By teaching biblical stories alongside the Declaration and Beowulf, kids can finally reconnect with the real American spirit. No more apologizing for tradition. No more letting radicals dictate the meaning of freedom or virtue. Texas is proving what every true conservative already knows: without God, we lose who we are.
