Foreign Hackers Are Looting American Businesses While Weak Leaders Let Them Run Wild

It’s not enough that America is under attack from enemies abroad, weak borders, and radical ideologues in our own government. Now we’re fighting a new war: a cybercrime wave where foreign hackers, often hiding behind European passports, loot and ransom American businesses into the ground. This week’s news about a so-called “Scattered Spider” hacker, shuttled from Finland to the U.S. for charges over $100 million in damages, is the ugly proof.

Let’s call this what it is: a giant, global shakedown of American success. Cybercriminals, like this 19-year-old U.S.-Estonia dual citizen, aren’t targeting socialist dictatorships. No, they’re tunneling into our thriving companies, stealing from hardworking Americans, and laughing all the way to their offshore crypto wallets. And guess what? It’s the left’s feeble policies that let these tech thugs think America is ripe for the picking.

Where are the protectors of American property and prosperity? While woke bureaucrats waste time chasing fake threats, criminal gangs are raiding our electronic frontiers. Business owners lose millions. Workers pay the price. The courts and FBI now scramble to clean up a mess the globalist class refuses to stop at the source. They’d rather respect “international cooperation” and send out polite Red Notices than secure our digital borders with real strength.

Here’s a fact liberals don’t want to admit: cyberattacks are economic terrorism. These hackers don’t just mess with data. They shut down companies, destroy livelihoods, and endanger infrastructure. Every time the DOJ touts a “victory” in extraditing a cyber crook, it covers up their own failure to actually deter this crime wave. It’s a game of catch-up, because the policies in charge are slow, soft, and obsessed with optics instead of real security.

As tech criminals circle like vultures, what does America get? Press releases and international handshakes. Meanwhile, elite retailers, hospitals, banks—everyone with something to lose—is one click away from disaster. Maybe it’s time for Washington to remember: surrendering to chaos online is just as dangerous as surrendering our streets. How many more attacks will it take before we see some real consequences? Americans deserve better than another apology tour—and these hackers deserve justice, not headlines.
