A hero is dead, and once again, it’s no mystery who’s to blame. Pennsylvania State Trooper Michael E. Pahira Jr. lost his life on the job—serving his state—because an illegal immigrant, someone with no right to even be in this country, let alone behind the wheel of a massive truck, was on the road where he never belonged. This isn’t just a tragic accident. It’s a direct result of open borders, weak leadership, and political games in Washington.
Democrats love to lecture Americans about “compassion,” but where’s their compassion for the families destroyed by illegal immigrants? They claim to care about law and order, yet their reckless policies let dangerous people flood into our neighborhoods. Liberals are more worried about the comfort of foreigners than the safety of hard-working Americans. They look the other way when real patriots pay the ultimate price.
No one in their right mind thinks an illegal alien should ever be driving a 40-ton truck on American highways. But thanks to a system that cares more about political correctness than public safety, these ticking time bombs are sharing the road with our families, with deadly results. Our leaders would rather appease globalist donors and radical activists than defend the men and women who risk their lives to protect us every day.
How many more American heroes have to die before the left wakes up? Sanctuary cities, catch-and-release, and a border that’s wide open: all are the handiwork of progressives who care more about their image than the safety of the country. Every time a tragedy like this happens, they offer thoughts and prayers—never real solutions. After all, for them, this is just another statistic.
Trooper Pahira’s blood is on the hands of the people who let this chaos happen. America doesn’t need another lecture from elitist politicians about diversity and tolerance. We need a government that actually puts its own citizens first. Will the left ever own up to the disaster they’ve created, or are more innocent Americans going to pay the price for their failed policies?
