While they lecture us about “tolerance” and scold anyone who dares question the myth of peaceful Islam, out in Maryland, we’ve got an imam calling for his followers to shed blood “for the sake of Allah.” That’s not neighborly potluck talk—that’s a warning. How many more times do radical voices need to speak plainly before this country wakes up?
The liberal narrative is as tired as it is dangerous. We’re told, again and again, that all Muslims in America are moderates, that they’ve left the violence of the old world behind. Anyone who questions this fairy tale is labeled an “Islamophobe,” smeared as hateful and ignorant. But when a religious leader openly encourages sacrifice—not in a philosophical sense, but actual blood—what does it say about the so-called “faithful moderates” filling American mosques? Can anyone seriously believe this just slips through the cracks?
The left is blind to their own hypocrisy. They obsess over imaginary threats and “white supremacy,” but when extremism comes from outside their politically-correct comfort zone, they bury the story. Imagine if a Christian pastor stood up and told his congregation to “shed blood for Christ.” The outrage would dominate every headline. But because this imam wraps himself in identity politics, he gets a free pass. The double standard is glaring.
This isn’t just about one Maryland preacher. This is about how the globalist elite are so desperate to virtue signal, they’ll ignore anything, even danger, if it fits their worldview. Washington bureaucrats and college professors wag their fingers at ordinary Americans, lecturing us to trust and tolerate, while radical voices preach violence inside our own borders. When will they admit that their policies are putting Americans at risk?
Americans deserve honesty, not fairytales spun by out-of-touch politicians and their pals in the media. There’s nothing “racist” about expecting people in this country to denounce violence—loudly and without conditions. The real threat isn’t the average American who wants answers. The real threat is refusing to face the facts, no matter how loud the warning bells ring. If the left keeps covering their eyes, maybe it’s time they answer whose side they’re really on.
