The left loves to lecture America about “believing all women”—until it’s one of their own facing accusations. Now, Maine Democrat Graham Platner, who was supposed to be the Golden Boy for their Senate dreams, finds himself in the hot seat after a woman who used to date him stepped forward with serious claims of sexual assault. Instead of dropping out or accepting responsibility, Platner is suddenly talking about “reconsidering” his campaign. Funny how Democrats only start thinking about consequences when they get caught.
For years, liberals have smeared conservative candidates even when the facts weren’t on their side. They love a good witch-hunt—unless the spotlight is on a fellow Democrat. Now the hypocrisy is glowing brighter than ever. Platner, who once gladly climbed on the soapbox to judge everyone else, expects special treatment from the media and his party. Where is the outrage? Where are the calls to believe his accuser? Suddenly, their righteous fury is on mute.
Don’t forget—this is the same liberal establishment that tries to destroy any conservative at the first hint of controversy. They pretend to care about women’s safety, but their ‘outrage’ only applies when it hurts a Republican. Platner’s allies are already twisting themselves into knots trying to protect their candidate and control the damage. The double standard is almost laughable.
Meanwhile, globalist Democrats keep lecturing Americans about “morals” and “character” as they parade around a man facing serious allegations. It’s the same old song and dance—rules for thee, but not for me. Maine voters should ask themselves: if Platner was a Republican, would the liberal machine be as forgiving? Not a chance.
Once again, the Democrat party is showing its true colors. They care more about their own power than about the truth. Is this really who Maine wants representing them in the Senate? Or is it finally time to send a message to virtue-signaling elites that their days of hypocritical finger-pointing are over?
