There it is, folks—the globalists tried, the woke Twitter rage mob whined, and the Eurocrats lost. Team USA’s star, Folarin Balogun, is going to play tonight, and no amount of European crying or leftist handwringing could stop it. Belgium’s desperate, last-minute appeal went straight into the FIFA shredder. That’s a little reminder that when America steps up, the world’s self-appointed hall monitors can screech all they want—the results still speak for themselves.
Let’s not ignore what really got the ball rolling here. President Trump—never one to sit on the sideline when American greatness is on the line—picked up the phone and had a straight talk with FIFA’s top brass. Suddenly, the nonsense ban on Balogun is put on ice and the United States has their gamechanger back in action. The left predictably called foul, crying about “interference” and sour grapes about “impartiality.” Funny how global elites always insist on “fairness,” so long as America is handicapped and their own power stays intact.
Belgium, of course, didn’t bother pretending this was about sportsmanship. With their World Cup hopes on the line, they tried to use bureaucratic mumbo-jumbo to kneecap America’s best player. When their appeal was thrown out for being legally useless, they whined that they weren’t getting “enough information”—as if FIFA’s main job is to cater to whiny Eurocrats and not let the world’s best players actually play. Why do these so-called “rules” always seem to magically favor the anti-American side, until a conservative leader puts his foot down?
The usual crowd is seething today. The bluecheck liberals who claim to care about “justice” in sports are furious whenever an American wins. The European press is clutching their pearls. “How dare the US president even speak to FIFA!” They’d love a world where America bows to their rules and our athletes are punished for daring to be the best. But Donald Trump reminded the world that the United States is not just another country—they’re the standard everyone else wishes they could live up to.
Wake up, America. For far too long, the left and their global “partners” have tried to box us in, always demanding our “humility” while they try to steal our victories with red tape and backroom deals. Tonight, Balogun plays, Team USA marches on, and the world will once again have to deal with what makes America different: we fight back, we win, and we don’t apologize for making history. Isn’t it time we stopped letting apologetic liberals run our playbook?
