Woke Hollywood stunned as patriotic Young Washington crushes box office against all odds

Hollywood’s woke machine just got bulldozed by a film no one in the liberal media wanted to succeed. “Young Washington,” a modestly budgeted movie about our nation’s founding hero, crushed its box office competition this weekend. It pulled in $20.8 million—beating the latest mindless superhero flop by more than $10 million, despite costing a fraction to make. Once again, an unapologetically pro-American, faith-driven studio is humiliating the big studios drowning in globalist cash and leftist ideology.

Let’s get one thing straight: Americans are sick and tired of movies that bash our history and trash our values. The entertainment elite in New York and Los Angeles pump out films that mock patriotism, redefine heroes, and push woke nonsense. Yet, while Hollywood insiders scratch their heads, real Americans in the Midwest, South, and heartland states are making their voices heard, sending “Young Washington” to the top of the charts. The gatekeepers are flabbergasted. How could a movie celebrating the youth of George Washington, told without apology or shame, trounce their overpriced, identity-politics-driven garbage?

The film’s success is no accident. The same company that delivered the global hit “Sound of Freedom” is doing it again, proving that heartland values and honest storytelling destroy the tired formulas Hollywood forces down everyone’s throats. When given the choice, families choose movies that respect faith, country, and history—values Hollywood left behind years ago in its mad dash to please the radical left and foreign investors.

No wonder the film’s appeal wasn’t strongest on the coasts but right where America’s spirit still lives—in the South, Midwest, and mountains. These are the regions liberals love to mock as “flyover country,” but this weekend, they decided which story America wants told: one about strength, courage, and a patriot who helped create the greatest nation on earth. Even stars outside the woke club, like a certain A-list actor, praised the movie’s incredible storytelling and acting, publicly encouraging Americans to celebrate our 250th birthday at the movies instead of swallowing another empty lecture from Hollywood elites.

And guess what? A sequel is already in the works—because grown-ups and families are voting with their wallets. Hollywood has a choice: keep losing to a small, independent studio that respects the country’s founding principles and makes real profits, or change their ways. Maybe they’ll wake up, but don’t count on it. Why would they start caring about the actual people they claim to represent now? America is starving for true stories and real heroes—and clearly, it’s not the “experts” in Los Angeles and New York who have the final say. Who’s really out of touch with America: the so-called tastemakers or all those ticket buyers who just made “Young Washington” a box office smash?
