Democrats Abandon Graham Platner as His Senate Campaign Crashes and Burns

Graham Platner’s campaign is on life support, but let’s not pretend this was a fluke. Anybody paying attention saw it coming. The Democrats are doing what they do best—running for the hills as if their clothing’s caught fire. They propped Platner up, defended him with cries of “unity” and “progress,” but now that his Senate hopes have spiraled into the abyss, they can’t scramble away fast enough.

It’s always the same story. Liberals rally around their chosen one until things get tough. Then, just when loyalty should mean something, they throw their guy under the bus and act like they never supported him at all. This isn’t courage—this is cowardice dressed up as “pragmatism.” They’ll tell you it’s about doing the right thing, but really it’s about saving their skins and maintaining their grip on power. Platner is just the latest sacrifice on their altar of political convenience.

Americans are tired of these political games. Regular people don’t want leaders who duck and dive when things heat up—they want truth, steadiness, and actual results. The left keeps promising change, but when disaster hits, they run like rats off a sinking ship. Instead of stepping up for their so-called values, they melt away, leaving their candidate twisting in the wind.

The sad part isn’t just the end of Platner’s campaign—it’s the blatant hypocrisy. While they pounded their chests in defense of Platner, the Democrats were really defending their own reputation. Now, when the campaign’s over, not one of them will own up to their mistakes. And they wonder why Americans don’t trust them.

So while the liberal elites sprint away from their mess, it’s worth asking—when will they ever stand for something real? Or is every Democrat just waiting to dive headfirst into oblivion the moment things get tough? One thing’s for sure: Graham Platner might be finished, but the spectacle of Democrats abandoning their principles is only getting started.
