Iran knows that choking off this passage threatens economies all over the world. Yet the regime doesn’t care—so much for those claims of “good faith” diplomacy.
Let’s not sugarcoat it: the only language these tyrants understand is strength. For too long, weak-kneed liberals and their globalist pals have bent over backwards, hoping that endless “talks” would tame Iran’s reckless behavior. Did that work? Never. Instead, Iran just gets bolder, launching more attacks and betting the United States will stay on the sidelines.
This time, America hit back. And not with empty words or stern looks—real consequences finally landed where it hurts. That’s exactly what should’ve happened years ago. When you let bad actors keep pushing, they only get worse. It’s refreshing to see actual action that forces Iran to think twice before targeting another ship.
The sad truth is that this crisis didn’t pop up overnight. Years of feeble Obama-era deals and Biden’s apology tours sent one message: America will tolerate anything. Meanwhile, our Navy is supposed to patrol these waters so the world’s fuel and goods can get where they need to go. If leftists in Washington keep hand-wringing and appeasing, pretty soon, Iran won’t just target ships—they’ll threaten American soldiers and citizens directly.
Why should we keep playing nice with a regime that spits in our face every time they get the chance? The world isn’t safer when weak leaders hope the playground bully will just stop. The only thing the mullahs respect is power—it’s time to serve it to them cold, every single time they act up. How much more proof do liberals need that standing strong is the only choice?
