The Left’s hatred for America hit a new low this week. A popular left-wing influencer, Jackson Hinkle, with millions of online followers, went all the way to Iran to honor the funeral of its dictator. Instead of celebrating American freedom for Independence Day, this so-called “activist” stood in the streets of Tehran screaming chants against the United States. He joined hands with the same regime that has slaughtered its own people for daring to seek freedom.
This is what today’s radical Left looks like—willing to travel halfway across the globe to praise an anti-American theocratic tyrant. Let’s not forget, this is the same regime that jails women for removing a headscarf and silences citizens with violence. Yet, Hinkle flies to Iran, not only to mourn its brutal leader, but also to lead protests against the very country that gave him a platform and a voice.
The hypocrisy couldn’t be clearer. This influencer often rails against leaders like Trump, calling America’s actions “terrorist crimes.” But then, he cozies up to real-world terrorists and their apologists. The Left can’t even keep its own stories straight—attacking the United States from the safety of American free speech, then running to support murderers who crush dissent and sponsor violence around the world.
Even more disturbing, Hinkle didn’t go alone. He was joined by a local Vermont politician and another far-left activist who once worked for Elizabeth Warren. These are the people liberals want running the show in America—individuals who turn their backs on the Stars and Stripes to kneel before a dictator’s casket and shout antisemitic slogans in the middle of Tehran.
Enough is enough. If these so-called “influencers” despise America so much, maybe they should stay in Iran and see how much they enjoy life under a real religious regime. There’s no American free speech or tolerance for dissent there. The truth is, if you’re rooting for America’s enemies, you’re no patriot—you’re standing on the wrong side of history. So why should we ever want you back? Freedom isn’t for the ungrateful.
