The Democrats are at it again—doing what they do best: making up the rules as they go along and trampling the will of voters. Maine is the latest example of this left-wing circus, and the party’s hypocrisy is on full, embarrassing display. Voters spoke loud and clear in the Senate primary. Graham Platner won in a landslide. Everyone—party bosses, donors, activists—knew who he was and what he stood for. Still, when things got messy for Platner after a serious allegation, Democrats jumped into action, hoping to erase him from the ballot and hand-pick a replacement. Sound familiar?
It’s the exact same scheme they pulled at the national level, swapping out Joe Biden for Kamala Harris after millions of Americans already voted. Does democracy even matter to these people? Clearly not, because whenever the results don’t fit their calculated plans, they find a reason to hit rewind and rewrite history. In Maine, the left is openly scheming to toss out their voters’ decision and slip in someone else. It’s no wonder so many Americans have stopped trusting the Democrat party. They give a lot of speeches about “defending democracy,” but their actions look more like a shady backroom deal in a banana republic.
Democrats talk nonstop about norms, fairness, and the “will of the people.” But time and again, when power is on the line, they reveal their true colors. They don’t trust voters—they trust themselves. And when the process isn’t working to their advantage? They just change the process. This is what happens when you let elites, globalist interests, and party insiders take control. The voice of everyday Mainers, the people who stood in line and cast their ballots, is treated as nothing more than an inconvenience.
This isn’t democracy—this is manipulation. It’s dangerous. The arrogance is staggering. There’s a reason people across the country are fed up with the liberal establishment and their double standards. Americans deserve to pick their own leaders, not have them chosen by a committee of smug, out-of-touch party hacks in a smoke-filled room. The Maine fiasco is just the latest example of how far the left is willing to go to cling to power.
If Democrats flip the chessboard every time they’re losing, why bother pretending we have elections at all? At this point, the only thing more predictable than their incompetence is their contempt for the voters they claim to represent.
