Once again, America is facing the ugly truth about the National Football League and the dark side the left refuses to confront: our athletes are becoming collateral damage in a corrupt, profit-driven circus. This week, the tragic end to Marshawn Kneeland’s life became more than just another heartbreaking story. At only 24, after just two seasons with the Cowboys, he died at his own hand—and now, researchers say he had Stage 1 CTE. That’s right—not even two full years in the NFL, and his brain was already showing signs of this deadly disease.
Here’s the part the mainstream media loves to skip over: liberals love preaching about “player safety,” but their endless “reforms” do nothing but push responsibility away from bloated NFL executives and greedy owners. Sure, there have been tweaks to concussion protocols and some new helmets, but CTE is caused by constant head impacts, not just the hits that get flagged on Sundays. Still, the league is more concerned about its social justice hashtags than actually protecting the very men making them billions.
Let’s not ignore this simple fact: nearly every family in America has some connection to football. It’s supposed to build character, discipline, and pride. Yet, young men like Kneeland are chewed up and spit out, all while activist sportswriters turn a blind eye so long as the “woke” messaging is painted on the end zone. When someone as young as Kneeland—barely out of college, already showing CTE—is lost, don’t just blame “mental health stigma.” Point the finger at the profit machine that’s got its fangs sunk deep in our national pastime.
And before anyone starts blaming “guns” or “toxic masculinity,” let’s be clear about who’s really responsible here. For decades, globalist sports industries, cheered on by leftist bureaucrats, have raked in the money while treating players’ brains as disposable. Where’s the outrage from the so-called “progressives” who claim to care for mental health? They’re too distracted fighting imaginary racism in team logos while ignoring young men’s lives cut short.
The questions America’s parents should be asking are simple: Why are we letting this happen? Why do our heroes have to pay the price for the NFL’s golden goose? Maybe it’s time we stop letting liberal talking heads set the agenda and demand real answers from the people cashing the checks. If our leaders won’t step up, maybe we should ask if they even care about America’s sons at all.
