Sunny Hostin has finally come right out and said what every conservative has known for years: Democrats will rally behind anyone, no matter how disgusting, as long as there’s political power at stake. Her latest defense of Graham Platner should make every American’s skin crawl. Here’s a guy with horrific allegations of assault, racism, and even a Nazi tattoo, and the left keeps propping him up. Why? Because they can’t stand the thought of losing to someone like Susan Collins.
Remember, this isn’t just one host spouting off on daytime TV. It’s a window into how the liberal machine operates. Democrat loyalty isn’t about values or decency. It’s about sticking together, no matter how rotten the candidate. These are the same Democrats who shrugged off Platner’s Nazi ink, didn’t blink at domestic abuse claims, and only started backpedaling when the polls went south. If he looked like a winner, they’d still be holding rallies.
Hostin doesn’t even try to hide their hypocrisy anymore. On national television, she made it perfectly clear she would “hold her nose” and vote for whoever benefits her party—even someone she admits is a liar, racist, and worse. She has the nerve to bash Republicans and call us the party with a “low bar.” That’s rich, coming from folks who covered for Ted Kennedy after a woman drowned because of his actions, and still gush over Bill Clinton’s so-called presidency, after years of sleaze and abuse.
This isn’t a one-off slip. It’s the blueprint for modern liberal politics: put power before people, spin every scandal, and then look down their noses at conservatives. They act shocked about “lack of morals” on the right, while their own party lines up behind abusers, racists, and radicals without missing a beat. And make no mistake—if Platner were polling better, Sunny and her friends would be handing out campaign buttons.
This is what passes for the “moral high ground” on the left. Give us a break. America deserves better than cowardly hosts defending the worst in their own party, while pretending to be outraged by Republican values. Maybe the only crisis Democrats see is losing their grip on power—but that just means the country might finally wake up.
