Every year on the Fourth of July, Americans come together to celebrate freedom, honor sacrifice, and remember what makes this country truly great. But these days, we have to listen to politicians like Zohran Mamdani rewriting history and acting like only immigrants have paid the price for America’s liberty. It’s the same tired story from the radical left. They never miss a chance to lecture the rest of us about who’s really responsible for building this nation—always with a smug tone and their own set of so-called “facts.”
Of course, Mamdani didn’t bother to mention the millions of native-born Americans who fought, bled, and even died for our freedoms over the centuries. No word about the soldiers at Valley Forge, Gettysburg, or Normandy. It’s always the same game: ignore the long, proud history of Americans who actually made the tough sacrifices, while demanding that the rest of us bow down to the latest woke narrative.
And speaking of disappointment, Barack Obama still can’t seem to hide his annoyance with the country that made him president. Every time he opens his mouth, he finds something wrong with America. It’s almost like these guys get more pleasure in scolding the country than they do in defending it. Funny how the left always talks about hope and change, but never seem satisfied with anything that doesn’t fit their globalist, America-last agenda.
The truth is, when Democrats talk about “sacrifice,” what they really mean is the sacrifices everyone else has to make while they play hero from the safety of their offices. They want you to believe that freedom was handed down from unelected activists or imported thinkers, instead of earned on bloody battlefields by ordinary Americans who loved their country more than their own lives.
It’s getting old. Americans deserve leaders who actually respect their history and appreciate the real price of freedom. The left might try to erase the past, but patriotic citizens know the truth. How much longer will we let the anti-American crowd rewrite the story of independence—and get away with it?
