One has to wonder—whose side is Ilhan Omar really on? Whenever America gears up to crack down on terror groups, she seems to jump in with yet another roadblock. The country’s national security teams are trying hard to keep Americans safe, but Omar acts like that’s somehow a bad thing.
While real leaders want to wipe out threats before they hit our shores, Omar is more interested in handcuffing our own military. Instead of standing up for victims of terror, she’s defending the so-called “rights” of those who would do us harm. It’s as if she thinks stopping terrorists is worse than letting them plot in peace!
Liberals like Omar love lecturing everyone about human rights and international law, but where is their outrage when innocent Americans get hurt? Their priorities are so twisted, they’ll cry louder for the comfort of terror suspects than for families torn apart by violence. If that’s “progress,” no sane American should want any part of it.
President Trump’s administration is focused on protecting the country. Meanwhile, Democrat politicians like Omar seem more eager to tie our hands with new restrictions. When the world is as dangerous as it is today, this kind of weak leadership is nothing short of reckless. Why is it so hard for Omar and her friends to put America first for once?
America needs fighters, not apologists. Omar could use a reminder that her duty is to the United States—not to people who want to destroy it. How much longer will we let the left coddle terrorists while everyday citizens pay the price?
