Iran is in chaos once again, and the so-called “Supreme Leadership” is coming apart at the seams. The world’s most dangerous regime can’t even keep track of its own heir apparent—Mojtaba Khamenei has vanished from public view, and Islamic hardliners are at each other’s throats scrambling for power. It’s a real circus, just as every sane American could have predicted.
While Europe wrings its hands and liberals in D.C. pretend diplomacy can change monsters into moderates, the Iranian leadership is busy stabbing each other in the back. Mojtaba, the presumed crown prince of this theocratic dictatorship, has gone mysteriously missing. In any functioning government, the son of the supreme leader disappearing would be an international scandal. But in Iran, it’s just another day of brutal infighting.
This is what happens when you give thugs power and let them dream about nuclear dominance. The Ayatollah’s circle is more interested in hoarding power than feeding their own starving people. The world’s liberals might call it “political maneuvering”—but let’s be real: it’s criminal gangs jockeying for their turn at the cash register.
This would be laughable if it wasn’t so dangerous. While Western elites and globalists want us to believe Iran is stable and worth negotiating with, the regime is an unstable hodgepodge of corrupt clerics and military cowards, all terrified of losing their spot on the gravy train. Does anyone in the Biden administration actually understand the mess they’re dealing with?
When a terror state can’t control its own succession, why should America or any freedom-loving nation take its threats seriously? Maybe it’s time for Western leaders to stop coddling dictators and start calling out the hypocrisy, violence, and incompetence at the heart of Iran’s rotten regime. Is the liberal foreign policy elite even paying attention, or do they just not care?
