Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum wasted no time twisting a tragedy in Houston into a political circus. After the death of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, Sheinbaum could’ve urged cooperation with American authorities. She could’ve pushed for real answers, or at least shown some honesty. Instead, she cranked up the outrage machine and turned the entire incident into some grand “sovereignty” struggle against the United States.
It’s a classic move straight from the liberal playbook. Blame America first, ask questions never. Forget common sense, forget facts, just launch an anti-American tirade to fire up your base. Sheinbaum isn’t interested in justice—she wants drama. She’d rather paint ICE agents as villains and talk about “Mexican dignity” than tackle the real problems that drive her own citizens across the border in the first place.
Liberals love to scream about American “imperialism,” but it’s convenient how they ignore their own failures. The Mexican government can’t keep people safe at home, but somehow, it’s America’s fault when someone dies after crossing illegally. It’s utter hypocrisy. If Sheinbaum actually cared about her countrymen, she’d fix her broken system instead of using tragic deaths to grab headlines.
And where are the globalists now? Silent, as usual. They never complain when foreign governments interfere in our affairs or attack our law enforcement. But if an American official dared to criticize Mexico’s open corruption or weak borders, the international elites would go berserk. It’s always a one-way street. Only America is expected to keep quiet and apologize.
America needs leaders who put citizens first, not politicians who bow to foreign pressure and media outrage. Sheinbaum’s latest stunt is a joke—just another example of left-wing leaders turning every issue into a fight against American sovereignty. Maybe she should clean up her own backyard before pointing fingers north of the border. Why should we let other countries dictate how we enforce our laws at home?
