Americans are under siege, and it’s not just from hackers in hoodies—the real danger is the fat-cat software makers who get away with leaving the digital doors unlocked. Sure, we hear talk from the Biden bureaucrats and the leftist cyber “experts” about hacking threats, but when it comes time to assign real blame, they’re silent about the tech giants making billions selling shoddy products. When some foreign criminal wrecks our hospitals, pipelines, or schools, who pays the price? Everyday Americans—not the CEOs cashing fat bonus checks.
Let’s get real. Before our government agencies had to hire armies of cybersecurity consultants, before ransomware gangs started living like royalty off American misery, there was a basic failure. Software companies cut corners, shipped cheap, bug-filled products, and left critical infrastructure wide open. Did the tech elites care? Of course not—as long as the cash kept rolling in from the globalist markets, national security and the American people were afterthoughts.
Where is the accountability? Liberals wring their hands about “Russian hackers” and “Chinese cyberwar,” but when it’s time to regulate the deep-pocketed tech industry, they fold faster than a cheap lawn chair. These are the same Democrats who threaten oil companies and small businesses with endless red tape, but let Big Tech write its own rules. It’s hypocrisy at its worst—and Americans are paying for it with our privacy, our safety, and sometimes even our lives.
If our leaders actually cared about protecting this country, they’d stop cozying up to Silicon Valley billionaires and start forcing software makers to take responsibility for their code. No more hiding behind complex legalese, no more blaming users for “clicking the wrong link.” Our power grids, hospitals, and police departments shouldn’t be crash-test dummies for whatever half-baked product comes next out of Silicon Valley. The left wants to talk about “corporate responsibility”—well, it’s time to start with the companies actually putting us all at risk.
For too long, CISA and the rest of our so-called cybersecurity leaders have looked the other way while American families get hammered by foreign hackers exploiting open back doors left by greedy software makers. Enough is enough. Why should these tech elitists keep getting rich while Main Street gets burned? Maybe it’s time someone actually puts the American people before globalist profits—for once.
