Another Day, Another Liberal Mess: Graham Platner Gone After Sex Assault Claims
Once again, the Democrats show the country what really matters to them: power over principle, talking points over truth. Graham Platner, a rising star Democrat running for the U.S. Senate in Maine, just pumped the brakes on his campaign after piles of sexual assault allegations finally caught up to him. Who saw that coming? Just about everyone outside the leftist echo chamber, apparently.
Of course, once the accusations hit the news cycle, the Democrat machine didn’t circle the wagons to defend “believe all women” this time. Instead, they fell all over themselves, desperately demanding Platner step aside to save face. They don’t care about the alleged victims—they’re just worried about losing another seat to actual conservatives who put the American people first.
It’s amazing how quickly the liberal mob throws their own under the bus when the optics get ugly. Selective outrage is their specialty. Maybe if Platner had been a Republican, the Democrats would swarm the microphones, shrieking about “due process” or “political smears.” But because it’s one of theirs, the rulebook flips overnight. Remarkable how self-righteous these elites act until their own get exposed.
Remember, this is the same party lecturing the rest of us about morality, equality, and “protecting women.” But when their own candidate faces serious accusations, the only thing they protect is their reputation in Washington. It’s nothing but smoke and mirrors, a distraction from their relentless push for power, big government, and globalist interests at the expense of regular Americans.
So Platner bows out—not because his fellow Democrats believed the women, but because they’re terrified the truth will cost them votes. This isn’t about justice. This is about a party desperate to cling to power, no matter who gets hurt. Are we really supposed to trust these people to run Maine—or the country?
