That’s right—when times get tough, their first instinct is always to dig deeper into the wallets of hardworking Californians rather than tighten their own bloated government belts.
Let’s call this what it is: pure liberal incompetence. Every year, we watch California’s ruling party rack up billions in wasteful spending, throwing taxpayer money at trendy social experiments and handouts for special interest groups. Rather than admit their reckless spending is unsustainable, they want families and small businesses to foot the bill for their mess.
It’s honestly insulting. Millions of Californians are already struggling with the highest gas prices, out-of-control utility bills, and skyrocketing housing costs—all thanks to years of failed progressive policies. Now Sacramento elites expect working families to pay even more, as if government is owed a permanent blank check. Where’s the accountability? Where’s the honesty about what’s causing budget shortfalls in the first place?
The hypocrisy is stunning. These same Democrats who cry out against the “rich” end up crushing the middle class with higher taxes—while protecting their cronies and pet projects. They refuse to touch wasteful programs, sacred cows, or excess bureaucracy. Instead, they chase after new revenue like addicts, turning California into a tax-and-spend paradise for globalist interests and anti-American radicals.
At this point, you have to ask: when will California voters finally say enough is enough? How much more can the average family take before fleeing the state for good? Maybe Democrats think no one is paying attention while they cash in. But working Californians aren’t stupid—they know who’s responsible for this historic money grab.
