America is supposed to be a nation of laws, order, and justice for hardworking citizens. But time and again, we see international criminals coming into our country, taking advantage of weak borders and a soft-on-crime system pushed by the left. Here’s yet another shocking case: a Chinese national, living in the United States as a so-called “lawful permanent resident,” has just been sentenced to nearly six years in prison for running a multi-million-dollar gift card scam. This guy walked right into our communities and stole more than two million dollars from innocent Americans—mostly from the elderly—using fraud schemes imported from China.
Liberals want us to believe that the border is secure and that anyone willing to come here is just chasing the American dream. But what about the American victims? While the left obsesses over so-called “compassion” for foreigners, seniors right here at home are getting fleeced by international scammers. This criminal didn’t just steal. He engineered a conspiracy, teamed up with overseas crooks, and ran around Florida laundromatting theft through Walmart and Sam’s Club like it was a fun little game. He played the system, used different registers and stores, and moved fast to cover his tracks. All the while, elderly citizens fell for scams, bought gift cards under false pretenses—and the only “loser,” in his twisted mind, was the woman who lost her savings.
Our justice system finally managed to catch and convict this guy, but let’s be honest—he never should have been here in the first place. For two years, he helped move millions in stolen money right under the noses of authorities. Where was liberal leadership to protect American families? Where were the Democrats shouting about “law and order” as grandmas lost everything to organized fraud?
Thank God the Justice Department finally started cracking down, and let’s give credit where it’s due: under President Trump’s renewed focus, there’s now a task force meant to eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse. Imagine if this effort began years ago before globalist and leftist policies invited these criminals in. The system may have got this one right—sentencing him and preparing to deport him—but how many more are out there getting away with it while the woke left fixates on pronouns and bogus claims of “equity?”
This case is a wake-up call: Americans need leaders who put citizens first. If you want fewer stories like this, stop giving criminals a free pass in the name of open borders and “tolerance.” Next time a liberal tells you there’s no problem with foreign crime, ask them how they feel about grandmothers losing their life savings for someone else’s gain. Whose side are they really on?
