Their latest policy platform reads like a wish list for those who despise the Constitution and can’t stand the way America was built.
Let’s be clear: every flavor of socialism ends up in the same place—total power in the hands of those at the top. The DSA’s plan is no different. They’re openly calling to abolish the Senate, give amnesty to every illegal immigrant in the country, and turn the presidency and the Supreme Court into powerless shells. All real authority would be handed over to Congress, completely destroying any checks and balances.
The socialists always talk about “power to the people.” But their real goal is to erase the safeguards that protect us from mob rule. Our Founding Fathers were no fools—they knew that tyranny isn’t just something that comes from a king. It can come from the majority too, if there aren’t brakes on power. That’s why they built layers of protection—like the Senate, the Electoral College, and an independent Supreme Court.
The DSA wants to tear all that down. Notice their targets: not the House, which is already closest to the people, but the very institutions designed to slow things down and force sober reflection. These progressives hate anything that stands in the way of their agenda—even if it’s the law. They pretend it’s about fairness.
