Anyone with common sense can see right through the left’s tired charade. This week, even CNN’s own Paul Begala finally asked what millions of Americans have wondered for years: Why does Bernie Sanders keep pretending he’s an outsider, when he’s been sitting in Washington for decades? The left loves to praise Sanders as some radical “revolutionary,” but the truth is he’s been feeding off the D.C. machine longer than most of us have been alive.
Let’s get real—Bernie Sanders has been in elected office since the 1980s. That’s nearly forty years of grabbing taxpayer-funded paychecks and cozying up to the political establishment. Yet every election, the socialist crowd dusts him off and rolls him out as some anti-establishment hero. Give us a break. The only “outsider” thing about Bernie is how far outside the mainstream his ideas really are.
What’s even more infuriating is how the media and the left try to have it both ways. They act like Sanders is leading a working-class rebellion, but he’s been part of the broken system for his entire career. He talks a big game about fighting corruption, but all he’s done is become another cog in the D.C. swamp. Bernie’s not cleaning up Washington—he *is* Washington.
Meanwhile, average Americans are struggling to pay their bills while career politicians like Sanders play dress-up as revolutionaries on national TV. The hypocrisy is off the charts. Sanders wants endless government spending, open borders, and socialist healthcare—all paid for by hardworking families who don’t have a private driver or a cushy Senate pension.
If even liberals are starting to point out Bernie’s establishment status, maybe it’s time the rest of America wakes up too. For all their talk about “change,” the left just keeps recycling the same tired faces and broken ideas. The only revolution Bernie Sanders is leading is the one to keep himself on the government payroll. Why should we buy the myth any longer?
