California’s golden boy, Gavin Newsom, is spinning again. This time, he’s scrambling to convince Americans that he’s just another victim of so-called “lawfare.” Last month, the DOJ announced Gavin and his wife were under criminal investigation. And what does Newsom do, right on cue? Cry about Trump, of course. That’s his favorite play. Whenever the left gets caught, it’s never their fault — it’s always a conspiracy.
Let’s get something straight. Newsom isn’t being hounded because he’s some brave soldier for democracy. No, the heat is on because of real accusations. But the Democrats want you to believe this is some manufactured witch-hunt. The hypocrisy is staggering. These are the same people who cheered on every FBI raid at Mar-a-Lago and every investigation against Trump. When the shoe’s on the other foot, they scream “injustice.”
And just look at Newsom’s little pity party. He’s hoping the public will see him as a martyr — a noble leader under attack just because he “might” run for president in 2028. Please. That story is older than California’s crumbling infrastructure. Liberals are always ready to wrap themselves in the flag when it suits them, but turn their backs on Americans at every turn. Under Newsom, California has become a playground for the progressive elite, while everyday families struggle with crime, homelessness, and runaway costs.
Let’s call this what it is: Democrat arrogance. They think they’re above the law. They weaponize the justice system against their enemies but demand pity when it finally comes back their way. Newsom built his career on slick talk and photo ops while ignoring real leadership. Now that he’s under the microscope, he can’t handle the heat.
So maybe the walls really are closing in on Gavin Newsom — and it’s about time. Isn’t it funny how the left never wants to play by their own rules? Americans shouldn’t buy this latest act. Think Gavin’s as innocent as he claims? Or just another liberal trying to dodge responsibility, again?
