The leftist media likes to pretend they’re above the law, but reality just caught up to them. Several New York Times reporters have now been slapped with subpoenas after running a story on supposed “security flaws” in the new Air Force One. Once again, the liberal press couldn’t resist putting our nation’s safety at risk just to chase their next anti-American headline.
It’s always the same song and dance. The so-called “journalists” claim to care about transparency, but what they really crave is attention—and they don’t care who gets hurt along the way. Did these reporters stop to think that broadcasting weaknesses in the presidential plane could endanger the Commander-in-Chief, or make America look weak on the world stage? Of course not. In their twisted worldview, embarrassing their own country is just another day at the office.
Let’s be honest: this is the same Times that looked the other way for years when their favored politicians dropped the ball on national security. Suddenly, they act obsessed with Air Force One’s safety—only when they see a chance to attack the institutions keeping us safe. It’s the height of hypocrisy, but no one expects anything better from a paper that’s been carrying water for the globalist elite for decades.
Normal Americans see what’s going on here. If a conservative outlet had broadcast details about presidential security, there’d be wall-to-wall outrage, criminal investigations, and lectures about patriotism. But when the left-wing press jeopardizes national safety, we’re supposed to thank them for their “journalism.” It’s clear which team the mainstream media is playing for, and it’s not Team USA.
Time after time, these anti-American mouthpieces are more interested in scoring political points than doing what’s right for the country. The subpoenas are a wake-up call: freedom of the press doesn’t mean license to betray your nation. Maybe the next time the liberal media thinks about handing a roadmap to our enemies, they’ll think twice. Or have the progressive elites already decided—America’s security can be sacrificed as long as it gets them clicks?
