Randi Weingarten is at it again, and this time, she’s managed to disgust parents and taxpayers in ways even seasoned critics didn’t think possible. The head of America’s biggest teachers union isn’t content with simply standing in the way of children’s education. Now, she’s cashing in on her failure with a book deal that reeks of insider self-dealing and arrogance. If anyone needed more proof that these unions care less about students and more about lining their own pockets, look no further.
The truth is simple and infuriating: the bigger these teacher unions grow, the more cash they suck from taxpayers. Meanwhile, our schools get dumber by the day. Kids can’t read, can’t do basic math, and the only thing growing is the mountain of excuses from union bosses like Weingarten. It’s a rigged system where underperformance is padded with massive checks, and children are used as bargaining chips.
What’s truly outrageous is how Weingarten and her cronies shield themselves with progressive slogans while doing everything possible to keep meaningful reforms away. Parents who demand better get labeled as “extremists,” while taxpayers get fleeced for more bloated budgets. Liberal politicians are always quick to defend these unions, but they never seem to care about the students left behind in failing classrooms.
The hypocrisy is relentless. If a school ever dares to question union power—or, heaven forbid, suggests putting learning over union perks—they get threatened, sued, or campaigned against. Meanwhile, Weingarten parades around, cashing in on her own “expertise” after decades of strangling real progress. It’s the ultimate anti-American scam: wreck the system, then sell yourself as the only one who can fix it (for a price, of course).
Maybe this latest book scandal will finally wake up America. How much louder can the alarm bells ring before parents say, “Enough!”? Why do we let the same corrupt insiders run our schools, snatch our money, and then blame us for their own failures? Here’s a thought—kick out the union bosses, restore common sense, and put students first for once. If that’s “radical,” then maybe it’s time for a real revolution in American education.
