There’s absolutely no surprise here: Iran is acting like, well, Iran—wild, unpredictable, desperate to stir up trouble in the world’s busiest shipping lane. And what does the Biden administration do? The usual. Plenty of stern faces, vague promises, and nervous “monitoring,” as America’s enemies poke and prod to see just how weak we’ve become.
Let’s be clear. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard thought it could flex its muscles by going after a harmless commercial ship in the Strait of Hormuz. Translation: They’re testing the limits, discovering just how far they can go before anyone in Washington wakes up and remembers what strength actually looks like. Aggression like this didn’t happen when America walked tall and carried a big stick—funnily enough, it only crops up when globalists signal to every two-bit dictator that America is low on backbone.
And what about all those cozy deals and “understandings” that liberals love to parade around? Paper isn’t worth much against rockets and speedboats. The so-called Memorandum of Understanding was supposed to keep the peace, or so the experts claimed. But here we go again, watching as Iran wipes its feet on our promises while bureaucrats in suits mumble about “dialogue.”
The real problem isn’t just Iranian insanity. It’s the open season on American interests created by weak leadership. The Strait of Hormuz is still open, but only after Iran’s attack and a scramble from our military. Why was the door left open for thugs like this in the first place? Why do American ships and businesses have to wait on edge for permission to carry out their business—all while the Biden team dithers and America’s enemies grow bolder by the hour?
Enough is enough. Every time America bows to thugs, the world gets just a little more dangerous. Strong action, not apologetic press briefings, is the only language these regimes understand. But what do you expect from an administration that seems more interested in appeasing radicals and impressing globalists than actually keeping Americans—at home and abroad—safe? When will these liberals admit: appeasement isn’t strategy. It’s surrender, plain and simple.
Who’s going to stand up for American strength, if not us?
