Ro Khanna’s Blame Game on the Platner Scandal Will Leave You Fuming

Ro Khanna Can’t Be Serious About His Platner Excuse—But Here We Are

Here’s the ugly truth: Democrat elites never hold themselves accountable. Just look at Rep. Ro Khanna’s latest performance on national TV. Instead of owning up to his role in the Maine Senate disaster, he tried to spin a pathetic tale of “missing the signs.” Give me a break. His party backed a ticking time bomb like Graham Platner right up until the media circus forced their hand.

Let’s talk about “signs.” Platner’s shameful baggage was out in the open for months. Creepy Reddit rants, cheating on his wife, a tattoo associated with actual Nazis, and disturbing activity on gross apps favored by online predators. Republicans, conservative media, and even some honest liberals pointed out these red flags from the start. But the Democrats? They turned a blind eye, clinging to their favorite new progressive until the skeletons started crawling out, making his toxic brand impossible to ignore.

When the dam finally broke—after allegations of sexual assault hit the headlines—Khanna made a big show of being the “first” to yank his endorsement. Translation: he only bailed when the party had lined up a backup plan, and there was nothing left to lose. How brave! Khanna wants credit for jumping off the sinking ship he helped build. And yet, even now, he whines about not “seeing the signs.” They saw plenty—they just hoped they could get away with it. When the left is forced to eat their words, blame-shifting and finger-pointing always follow.

It gets more insulting. Khanna immediately dragged Planned Parenthood, Elizabeth Warren, and the entire Democrat machine into the mess. Like always, if everyone’s guilty, no one’s to blame. Liberal leaders never learn: When you chase unqualified radicals just to win a seat, you end up with chaos. Now, Maine Democrats have no Senate candidate, and the party looks like a joke. All that’s left is a scramble for damage control while Susan Collins sits pretty, waiting for their next political experiment to crash and burn.

Maybe Khanna and his friends should stop pretending their moral compasses are broken. The truth is, they only regret getting caught. Are Democrats ever going to realize that voters see right through these charades—or do they think Americans are as blind as they are?
