AOC blames Boomers for everything but here’s why Gen Z should be grateful instead of angry

It seems every time Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez opens her mouth, she’s trying to blame the Baby Boomer generation for all of America’s problems. Now she’s claiming that socialism is on the rise because Boomers left Gen Z with nothing but scraps. Here’s a reality check: today’s young people ought to be sending Boomers thank-you cards, not angry TikToks.

Boomers made America great. They built businesses, homes, and whole industries. They fought wars to defend freedom, raised families, and—despite all the leftist slander—fueled more prosperity than any generation before them. Without their grit, Gen Z kids wouldn’t even have smartphones to whine on, let alone the wealth and comfort they take for granted.

Meanwhile, socialist cheerleaders like AOC just want more government control, more debt, and more division. Instead of inspiring hard work and ambition, she preaches victimhood. She acts like Gen Z are helpless, starving children when they’re actually the most coddled, connected, and privileged group in history. And let’s not forget—these same young “victims” are the biggest consumers of everything capitalism makes possible.

But liberals always need a scapegoat. It’s never their wild spending, open borders, or failed socialist experiments that are to blame. No, it’s always some hard-working American from a previous generation. Talk about hypocrisy. Global elites and left-wing politicians would love to tear down everything that made this country exceptional and turn it into just another failed socialist experiment.

Maybe if the Left spent less time stirring up outrage and more time teaching real American values, Gen Z would look up to Boomers—not blame them. After all, who’s really responsible for sky-high college costs, dumbed-down education, and crushing regulations? Hint: it’s not the old ladies living in Florida. It’s the same liberal politicians who promise utopia but deliver chaos.

So, here’s a challenge for AOC and all her spoiled followers: stop whining and start thanking the generation that made your cushy life possible. Or is gratitude just another “old-fashioned” value the Left wants to erase?
