For years, Americans have heard the same tired excuse from politicians and big corporations: there’s a so-called “labor shortage,” and only mass immigration can fix it. But let’s get real. This isn’t about helping America. It’s about cheap labor, plain and simple. While the elite shove open borders down our throats, Gen X and Millennials are paying the price—hardworking Americans face flat paychecks, fewer job opportunities, and an economy rigged against them.
The past forty years should have made life better for these young Americans. The promise was always that hard work would mean success and security. So why are wages stuck in the mud? Why does owning a home or starting a family feel out of reach for so many? It’s not an accident. Flooding the country with foreign workers keeps wages low, no matter how badly Americans need a fair shot. The people in charge don’t want a fair market. They want endless supply and lower pay.
Liberals and globalists love to toss around phrases about “diversity” and “inclusion,” but when it comes to real lives, they look the other way. For Wall Street and Washington, these policies are about one thing—profits. Gen X and Millennials end up as the losers in a rigged game. The dream of a strong, independent middle class is slipping through their fingers, all because our so-called leaders care more about cheap labor than their own citizens.
The hypocrisy is stunning. The political left cries crocodile tears about economic justice, but then they invite in wave after wave of new workers who compete directly against American job seekers. Must be easy for millionaire politicians who never feel the burn of lost wages or layoffs. But they’re more than happy to sacrifice the future of American families to please global corporations and far-left ideologues.
It’s time to admit what few in the ruling class ever will: the open-borders experiment has failed Gen X and Millennials. The only beneficiaries are big business moguls and shameless politicians who never cared about Main Street. When will Americans fight back and demand a government that puts their wages and dreams first?
