Just look at the so-called “national holidays” the left and the out-of-touch elites keep pushing. French fries have a day. Beans ‘N’ franks? That gets a moment too. Heck, someone even decided we need a whole day for beef tallow, and another for singing barbershop music, not to mention Delaware, rocks, and “Embrace Your Geekness.” The result is a calendar that’s so jumbled, it’s proof positive that modern culture is run by people who’ve never seen a normal day’s work in their lives.

You can see liberal confusion in the way these days pile up like a joke—the same crowd that wants to cancel Columbus and George Washington throws their energy into celebrating beef fat and rocks. Priorities, liberals! No wonder nothing ever gets done in Congress. The left keeps coming up with theme days that sound like they came out of a committee of overpaid activists hunting for relevance instead of focusing on the basics. Americans want safe streets, cheap gas, good jobs, and freedom—none of which get their own day on this ridiculous calendar.

Americans work hard. Most people don’t have time for silly holidays about rocks or “gruntled” workers. Maybe if bureaucrats and their globalist buddies spent less time making up nonsense, and more time fixing the border, standing up to China, or protecting families, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

Give the left an inch, and they’ll waste a mile, distracting Americans with one hollow celebration after another. Anything to keep people from asking why nothing works or why everything is so expensive these days. The media eats it up, too—leaving ordinary citizens to clean up the mess.

So here’s an idea: instead of embracing your “geekness” or humming barbershop tunes all day, maybe it’s time to hold these clueless leaders accountable. America isn’t fooled by the distractions—people know what matters. How about a National Common Sense Day? Or is that too dangerous for the woke crowd to handle?
