Let’s be honest: for years, our so-called leaders have risked American lives and spent billions babysitting the Strait of Hormuz, all so the global elites can keep their oil profits rolling in. Trump finally did what no liberal or do-nothing establishment Republican had the guts to do. He drew a line in the sand and told Iran—and everyone else—that America isn’t the world’s security guard anymore. If you want the strength of the U.S. Navy keeping those oil tankers safe, you’re going to have to pay up.
For far too long, Democrats happily handed out our resources while apologizing for America’s strength, every time rogue nations acted up. Iran loved it. The Biden crowd, John Kerry—the whole gang—they’ve bent over backwards to appease these thugs, pretending it’s our responsibility to keep the world’s oil flowing for free. The left calls it being “global citizens.” Real Americans call it getting taken advantage of.
Trump’s move is just common sense. Why should America keep risking our ships, our money, and our young men and women, just so global corporations and foreign countries can line their pockets? Liberals act like America owes the world a favor—even when those same countries trash us at every turn. The Strait of Hormuz is a high-stakes game, and for once, the U.S. isn’t showing up with a smile and open wallet.
Predictably, the same pearl-clutchers who constantly say Trump is “dangerous” are panicking. They say holding Iran accountable will make things worse. Here’s a question: How’s that weak foreign policy working so far? If you look at the chaos every time the left bows to our enemies, you’ll see exactly why Trump’s attitude is overdue. The Iranians respect power, not empty promises and apology tours.
Isn’t it time America stopped being the chump in the global playground? Trump’s tough stance shows we finally have a leader who puts Americans first. If our friends—and especially our foes—don’t like it, maybe they should start protecting their own oil for a change.
