James Talarico is back in the spotlight, and this time, he’s crying over an illegal immigrant who put the lives of ICE agents at risk. Yes, you heard that right. While federal agents tried to do their jobs, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo tried to mow them down with his car. But instead of supporting law enforcement, Talarico is busy painting Araujo as some kind of tragic hero.
This is the Democrat playbook every single time. Side with lawbreakers and lecture the rest of us about “justice.” Talarico tells a sob story about how long Araujo lived in Texas, how hard he worked, and what his kids are up to these days. Nice. But ask yourself: what about the jobs, homes, and college spots stolen from Americans because politicians like Talarico refuse to secure the border?
Democrats love to talk about “neighborliness” when it’s convenient, yet ignore the endless pain caused by illegal aliens. When American families—so-called “Angel Families”—lose loved ones to illegal crime, do people like Talarico ever mention them? Never. They don’t bring up names like Sheridan Gorman, Laken Riley, Grant Ronnebeck, or Joshua Wilkerson. Those names don’t fit their leftist narrative.
Talarico and his pals keep pushing to abolish ICE and tear down our laws, while pretending there’s no real risk to the average American. Meanwhile, the Democrats make every excuse for criminals who spend decades breaking the rules instead of applying for citizenship legally. And what message does that send? Follow the law, and you get ignored. Break the law, and politicians rush to defend you.
It’s time to face reality. Whose side are our leaders on? Americans who work hard, obey the law, and want to keep their families safe—or foreigners who think the rules don’t apply to them? Maybe if Democrats spent half as much time standing up for victims of illegal crime as they do defending criminals, we’d have a country worth passing on.
