Dua Lipa’s fake banned books exposed the left’s censorship hypocrisy laid bare

It’s getting old watching leftists cry about “banned books” every time parents or libraries use some common sense. This time, pop singer Dua Lipa decided to build a “library” filled with so-called “banned books,” acting like she’s fighting a global wave of right-wing censorship. Here’s the catch—none of these books are actually banned. They’re still on Amazon, still in bookstores, and still in libraries. The real people addicted to censorship? The very leftists whining the loudest.

Let’s talk about a truly banned book—”The Camp of the Saints,” a novel that dared to question the open borders and “diversity” worship smothering Western culture today. When a conservative ordered this book earlier this year, it took Amazon nearly two months to deliver it. Why? The leftist mob had pressured Amazon to delist it, just because the book exposes uncomfortable truths about mass migration. The author saw where Europe was heading decades ago, and that scares leftists to death. They call it “hate,” but what they’re really afraid of is dissent.

Meanwhile, when parents simply ask that hypersexual, LGBTQ-themed books aimed at kids be removed from the children’s section, the left explodes in rage. Suddenly, this is “censorship” and “Orwellian tyranny.” But everyone knows those books aren’t even close to being banned—they’re still everywhere. The left doesn’t want just access, they want to force-feed their ideology to your kids, and anyone who objects is painted as a modern-day book burner.

Of course, this is the same crowd that thinks handing explicit materials to elementary schoolers is “progress.” One top Democrat advisor even tried to get a photo of his genitalia included in a children’s book about puberty. That’s not education, that’s sickness. These are the books the left fights for—while trying to erase classics like “To Kill a Mockingbird” or Shakespeare, which apparently are now “problematic.”

Dua Lipa’s “banned books” library is the perfect proof of the left’s hypocrisy. No conservative mob is storming her little book club. No one is burning her books or shutting down her project. Why? Because conservatives still believe adults should be free to read what they want—even filth—while kids deserve protection from indoctrination and pornography. The real threat doesn’t come from “right-wing censorship.” It comes from a radical left more interested in corrupting children and silencing opposition than letting people freely choose what they read.

So, who’s really afraid of a free marketplace of ideas? It’s not the right. Maybe next time the left should try reading the books they’re so desperate to shove in kids’ faces. Or is that too much reality for them to handle?
