New Yorkers used to have pride in their city’s famous landmarks. The Intrepid Museum was supposed to be a shining example of our history and American strength. Now, what do visitors see on their way? An unsightly homeless camp, setting up shop right outside. These encampments are more than an eyesore; they bring crime, chaos, and destroy the city’s dignity.
But apparently that’s not enough for the so-called “residents.” They’ve now crossed another line, caught stealing city electricity in broad daylight, as if the taxpayer-funded grid is just their personal plaything. Law-abiding citizens pay through the nose for these services. But if you’re part of the modern urban squatters’ club, it seems you get to override the rules in progressive New York.
Just look at the politicians running the show—too weak, too woke, and too quick to excuse lawlessness. Radical lawmakers like Zohran Mamdani want to turn New York into an “anything-goes” playground for criminals and vagrants, while hardworking families are left to foot the bill. Globalist elites in their penthouses barely notice while the city’s streets collapse into dirty, unsafe free-for-alls.
Thankfully, the police finally stepped in to stop this madness—at least for now. But why did it take outright theft to draw a line? Why are average citizens treated like criminals for the smallest infraction, while homeless squatters get special treatment right up until they literally steal from the rest of us?
How much longer will New Yorkers tolerate the decay, the double standards, and the lawlessness that comes with the left’s failed policies? Seems like these “sanctuary” solutions are only working for the criminals. When will someone finally stand up for the real citizens of this city?
