The world likes to turn a blind eye when Christians are the victims. It happened again in Pakistan—this time, a 13-year-old Christian girl was ripped away from her family by a predator in his thirties. She was forced to convert to Islam, forced into marriage, and made to forget everything about her life and faith. The so-called “international community” barely reacts. Yet the European Union makes a big show of concern, while proving just how useless global oversight really is.
Let’s be clear: this isn’t an isolated incident. Christian and other non-Muslim children in Pakistan have lived this nightmare for years. These little girls are abducted and broken—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The EU issues angry letters and stern warnings. But they’d rather hold hands with Pakistani diplomats than actually demand real change. Do liberals in Brussels even care? Or is “human rights” just another convenient talking point for their cocktail parties?
Imagine if a Muslim child disappeared in a Western country under similar circumstances. The media would go wild. We’d see protests in the streets and Hollywood tears on late-night shows. But when abused girls are Christians in a nation friendly with globalist elites, suddenly the outrage dries up. Where are all the liberal feminists who claim to defend “all women”? Apparently, oppressed Christian girls don’t fit the right narrative.
Meanwhile, President Biden and his buddies bend over backward to placate Pakistan with “Strategic Partnerships” and piles of taxpayer dollars. American families should be furious. While Washington is busy playing nice on the world stage, innocent children are paying the price—just so politicians can virtue signal about “interfaith dialogue.” It’s a sick joke.
The world needs less empty talk and more backbone. How many more children need to suffer before the West stops funding countries that attack religious minorities? Maybe if the suffering kids wore rainbow flags and shouted about climate change, the left would finally care. Until then, Christians don’t count—and that’s the real scandal.
