Under Biden, federal bureaucrats demanded that if a child said they didn’t feel like their biological sex, they had to be shipped off to “affirming” homes. Forget faith. Forget parents’ values. If you held traditional beliefs, you could kiss fostering goodbye.
Who pays the price for this social experiment? Kids, of course. Good families—especially faith-based ones—were blocked from helping needy children, all in the name of leftwing ideology. That’s not just unfair, it’s cruel. Regular Americans, especially Christians, were told they didn’t qualify because they wouldn’t toe the progressive line on gender. Imagine being desperate to open your home, ready to love and support a child in need, only to get sidelined because you refuse to play make-believe with gender pronouns.

Trump’s team isn’t playing those games. Instead, they’re slamming the brakes on the insanity and focusing on what matters: finding loving, stable foster homes for kids. There’s a crisis of kids who need families—less than 60 homes for every 100 foster kids. But thanks to liberals, countless families were run out of the system, leaving kids to sleep in hotels or government offices. Only in Joe Biden’s America would children end up paying the price so grown-ups can virtue signal.
Now, with this ridiculous rule erased, the message is clear: All loving families are welcome, no matter what the radical left says about gender. Child welfare should never be a playground for woke experiments. It’s about protecting innocence, not destroying it. Maybe it’s time Democrats learn that lesson—before there’s no future left for the kids they claim to care about.
