The United States hit the city of Bushehr in Iran, and it’s about time someone took real action against the world’s top state sponsor of terror. For years, Iran’s nuclear ambitions have threatened the safety of not just the Middle East, but also America and her allies. Bushehr is no ordinary city—it’s the heart of Iran’s only openly admitted nuclear power plant. Anyone who believes that this reactor is purely “civilian” is either naive or willfully blind.
The left has been coddling the Iranian regime for decades, throwing billions at them and selling the delusion that Iran will act like a good neighbor if we just play nice. How has that worked out? Tehran continues to arm terrorists, threaten Israel, and chant “Death to America” at every opportunity. Yet globalist liberals somehow keep pushing for more appeasement, more failed deals, and more excuses for a regime that doesn’t even hide its hatred for the West.
Now, American might finally shows up—hitting not just military strongholds but also strategic infrastructure like Bushehr—and what do we hear from left-wing pundits and their pals in Europe? Cries about “civilian targets” and the supposed right of Iran to pursue nuclear technology. They would rather clutch their pearls than admit the truth: Toughness stops tyrants.
The hippies who run Washington think every problem can be solved with a stern letter and a handshake. But when you’re dealing with a regime that lies, cheats, and sponsors terror, real strength is the only language they understand. Bombs speak louder than Biden’s empty promises ever will, and actions like this one in Bushehr are what’s actually needed to keep Americans safe.
Liberals can’t decide whose side they’re on when America stands up for herself. They claim to care about safety and security, but their weakness does nothing but encourage Iran and its henchmen. When the U.S. puts Iran’s dangerous programs in the crosshairs, suddenly the left finds its outrage. Why do progressives scream louder about Iranian targets than they ever do about American hostages or allied cities under rocket fire?
Maybe it’s time to stop worrying about offending the mullahs, and start asking when the left will finally put America first.
