He had just returned from Ukraine, already back to work on a slate of agenda items the left despises. But instead of honest reporting about his legacy, the media wanted another gotcha moment with Trump.
CNN’s Jake Tapper couldn’t help himself. Even during a moment meant to honor Lindsey Graham, Tapper tried dragging Trump into talk of foreign wars and wedge issues. Trump, ever the master, shut it down. He insisted on keeping the discussion about Graham, showing more class in a few minutes than the network has managed in years. That’s when the real fun began.
Trump dropped a bomb by saying he’d like to see CNN start acting normal for a change. You could see Tapper’s smug grin melt into outright confusion. The look on his face said it all—he had no idea how to handle a president who fights back. For years, CNN and their ilk have enjoyed their echo chamber, terrified at the thought of losing their grip. Now, with their owners shaking things up, even Trump is daring them to act like the real news again. No wonder Tapper was rattled.
This is classic Trump. He doesn’t just take the fight to the radical left; he exposes their games for all Americans to see. While the elites worry about their image, Trump confronts the broken media at every turn. And every time he does, their so-called reporters just can’t keep up.
Let’s be honest. The liberal media isn’t interested in the truth. They want puppets, not patriots. Tapper and his crowd want us to believe they’re “normal,” but Americans know better. Maybe it’s time CNN takes President Trump’s advice—for once in their lives, act like honest journalists. Is that too much to ask?
