Democrats Will Do Anything to Protect Illegal Immigrants—Even Ignore the Law

Here we go again. Yet another Democrat, Rep. Analilia Mejia from New Jersey, refuses to answer a simple question: Should someone with a legal deportation order actually be deported? This isn’t a trick question. If there’s a judge’s order, it means due process was served. But when pressed, Mejia wouldn’t give a straight answer. She dodged, she danced, and she made it clear: Democrats don’t want to throw anyone out—not even those who broke our laws and were told to leave by the courts.

Liberals love to act as if our laws don’t matter. Why bother with judges, borders, or anything resembling rules at all? When elected officials can’t say what should happen to someone who’s gone through the whole legal process and still refuses to leave, something is deeply broken. It makes you wonder who these so-called representatives are really working for—the American people, or the global interests who constantly push open borders?

Meanwhile, the rest of us live with the consequences. Crime goes up, schools and hospitals get stretched thin, and hardworking Americans watch as their communities change overnight. But if you dare to ask why people with deportation orders are still here, the left calls you cruel or racist. The real cruelty is ignoring the will of citizens. The real injustice is telling law-abiding Americans that their voices and their safety come last.

Maybe Mejia doesn’t want to anger the radical wing of her party. They cry for “compassion,” but all they really want is a permanent underclass they can turn into voters. For years, Democrats have shown they’re more interested in protecting illegal immigrants than fighting for American families. Why? Because chaos and lawlessness keep them in power.

This is America. Our rules still matter. If someone is here illegally and a court says it’s time for them to go, the answer should be easy. Instead, we get cowardice and double-speak from Democrats like Mejia. If they won’t enforce our laws, why do we keep sending them to D.C.? Maybe it’s time for every elected official to answer this: Whose side are you really on?
