Todd Blanche walked into the Senate Judiciary Committee and the political theater began. The so-called hearing turned out to be an old-fashioned, one-sided grilling session. It’s the same show Americans have seen before—a Republican leader gets dragged in front of a panel and hammered with loaded questions by Democrats thirsty for a gotcha moment. Blanche, as acting Attorney General, has shown nothing but dedication to law and order. That’s exactly why the liberal side is scared.
Democrats threw everything they had at Blanche, hoping to find cracks in his conservative armor. Why? Because they can’t stand the idea of someone who believes in actual justice and protecting America’s borders leading the Justice Department. It’s obvious—they want weak, globalist puppets who care more about appeasing foreign interests than standing up for American families.
The senators on the left didn’t waste the chance to grandstand. Instead of honest questions, they tried to score political points and push their woke agenda. They’re terrified someone like Blanche might crack down on crime, fight illegal immigration, and finally address the disaster that is liberal soft-on-crime policies. They care more about headlines on MSNBC than the voice of working Americans.
This is what passes for vetting, as far as Democrats are concerned: Demonize a man who puts America first, simply because he doesn’t bow to radical ideology or answer to the corrupt DC machine. They call it “concern.” The rest of us call it what it is—desperate obstruction from a party that’s run out of ideas and is clinging to power with scare tactics and smear jobs.
While the left tries to paint principled leaders as the threat, American patriots see right through the game. The real danger? Politicians who’d rather watch our country fall apart than admit their own failures. Maybe next time, Democrats could grill themselves on why their own policies are destroying the nation—or is that too much honesty for one hearing?
