Americans should be outraged—and maybe even a little scared. A new poll now shows that nearly half of Americans think the country is sliding toward socialism. That’s right, 48 percent see our nation drifting away from freedom, hard work, and individual responsibility, and straight into the arms of big government and socialist ideology.
This isn’t happening by accident. The left has been pushing its agenda for years, chipping away at our traditions and values. Every time Democrats promise “free” college, “free” health care, or dream up another massive spending bill, they plant more seeds of socialism. Meanwhile, the so-called “progressives” try to tell us it’s all about fairness and equity—two empty buzzwords that are really code for more control and more taxes.
It’s bad enough that out-of-touch elites in Washington ignore the struggles of everyday Americans. Now these same people want to socialize medicine, forgive trillions in student loan debt, and open the borders to anyone who can make it here. They want to break down every foundation this country is built on. And when it all starts to fall apart, they’ll be shocked—just like socialists in history always are.
But why should anyone be surprised? We’ve watched for years as liberals praise failed socialist experiments around the world. The globalist crowd sees nothing wrong with putting America last, giving power to unelected bureaucrats, and wrecking our energy independence all in the name of saving the planet. The hypocrisy is off the charts—they ride in private jets while telling us to eat bugs, trust the experts, and shut up.
So here we are, at a crossroads. Will Americans stand up for liberty, opportunity, and the Constitution—or sit back while socialism eats away at everything that made this country great? Or do liberals really want to see how far down the socialist road we can go before there’s nothing left to save?
