The time has come to put an end to the twice-a-year government meddling known as Daylight Saving Time. Americans are tired of being yanked around like puppets, groggy for days because bureaucrats insist on flipping the clock. Permanent Daylight Saving Time is the way forward. The so-called “experts” and liberal lawmakers whining about it are just looking for any excuse to keep us stuck in the past, following the same useless traditions that get in the way of real American progress.
Liberals claim they care about people’s health and wellbeing, but every spring and fall, they’re happy to force millions to lose sleep and stumble into work half-awake. Why? Because the government told them to, that’s why. Kids are cranky in the mornings, parents have a harder time keeping their families on track, and productivity nosedives. Meanwhile, the elites sit in their Capitol offices, untouched by the chaos they cause for the rest of us.
Let’s be honest—the main opposition to Permanent DST comes from people who thrive on government control. They want Washington micromanaging everything, even the time on your microwave. The globalist crowd loves to push for “harmony” with other countries, as if Americans should shape their days based on what Europe feels like doing. News flash: we don’t need Brussels telling us how to live. We’re Americans, and we can decide for ourselves what works best for our lives and communities.
Permanent DST just makes sense. Longer evenings mean safer roads, more time for families to spend outside, and a boost for small businesses that depend on after-work customers. Liberals never want to talk about the wins—just fear-monger about minor problems that don’t even exist for most people. They’re so obsessed with following “tradition” they’ll defend half-baked policies just because they’re old, not because they work.
The left likes to preach about “progress,” yet when real common-sense reform comes up, they cling to outdated ideas like barnacles on a sinking ship. Are we really supposed to believe that keeping kids in the dark every morning is a sign of enlightenment? Or maybe it’s just another way for them to pretend they know what’s best for everyone else. Enough is enough. America should lead, not follow, and that means making Daylight Saving Time permanent—for good.
So, the question stands: will we finally tell the busybodies in Washington to butt out of our clocks, or are we going to keep letting them steal our time?
