It turns out, no matter how loud the left shouts, socialism just isn’t popular in America. Despite years of Hollywood propaganda, activist college professors, and socialist cheerleaders on social media, most Americans still know better. A new poll makes this loud and clear: voters overwhelmingly favor capitalism while giving socialism, communism, the radical Democratic Socialists of America, and the “Free Palestine” crowd a big thumbs down. In fact, these fringe movements are losing ground with regular, hard-working folks. Is that really surprising?
Look at the numbers. The Democratic Socialists of America—the group that’s been trying to drag the country to the far left—can only scrape together 120,000 members. That’s in a nation of over 380 million. It’s actually laughable. These DSA types barely register—about one out of every 10,000 Americans. Yet somehow, we’re supposed to believe this tiny minority deserves to upend our entire system? Don’t forget, these same groups are storming their way through the so-called “mainstream” Democratic Party. The radicals aren’t hiding their takeover anymore.
The shameless “Free Palestine” mobs, socialists, and even open communists claim to stand for democracy, but look closely at their tactics. They don’t trust voters or the Constitution. That’s why the left fights tooth and nail to destroy the Electoral College, invites illegal aliens to flood across the border, and pushes mail-in ballots without safeguards. The only way these anti-American ideas have a shot is if they cheat their way into power.
It’s rich watching liberals try to sell Americans on empty promises of “equity” and “justice.” What they really want is control. They don’t trust regular Americans to run their own lives—so they’ll force their destructive agenda on the country by any means necessary, democracy be damned. They preach compassion, but what they deliver is division and decay.
Americans aren’t buying it. The poll proves what most people already knew—socialism is just a sad, failed idea beloved by university coffee shops and internet radicals, not the heartland. The left can shout it from the rooftops, but the American people aren’t fooled. Maybe instead of plotting to rig the system, Democrats should finally try listening to the majority for a change. Or is respecting America just too much to ask?
