When it comes to fueling chaos and violence, no one in Washington seems to stoke the flames quite like Senator Chuck Schumer. Let’s not forget his disgraceful performance, standing on the Supreme Court steps, shouting threats at Justices because he didn’t like a decision. The Left tells everyone they’re for democracy and respect, but the moment a court ruling stands in their way, they scream, whine, and basically incite mobs to show up with pitchforks. This is the ugly face of liberal “leadership”—vicious, unhinged, and ready to throw safety out the window for political gain.
The Supreme Court is under siege. Justice Brett Kavanaugh barely escaped an assassination attempt. Amy Coney Barrett and her family have faced bomb threats, swatting, endless harassment—the list goes on. And what do the Democrats in Congress do? They keep fanning the flames, attacking the very institution meant to uphold the law. The media, of course, cheers them on, twisting facts and glorifying “resistance” while pretending these outbursts don’t have real-world consequences.
Senator Susan Collins was absolutely right to call out Schumer’s shameful rant. The dangerous rhetoric pouring out of the Left, and yes, sometimes even the Right, has turned sitting on the nation’s highest court into a life-or-death ordeal. Senators, who should defend our proud Constitution, are instead putting targets on the backs of judges—because their side didn’t get its way. It’s pure hypocrisy. When President Trump criticizes the courts, Democrats clutch their pearls and scream about “threats to democracy.” Yet when their own leadership does far worse, they shrug and move on.
It gets even more ridiculous when you hear liberal lawmakers act concerned over Supreme Court security budgets. If they were truly worried about the safety of justices, maybe they’d stop encouraging reckless protests and stop with the leaks that put judges in danger. Even Elena Kagan, one of the liberals on the court, admits this kind of rhetoric and these leaks endanger not only people’s lives but public trust in the institution. But Democrats would rather risk real harm, as long as they can grandstand for their radical, anti-American base.
This isn’t just about partisan politics anymore. This is about Democrats openly inviting violence if they don’t like the outcome. The law means nothing to them unless they’re the ones writing it—and unless the “right” people are enforcing it. Susan Collins was right to call Schumer out, but the reality is, unless enough Americans stand up to this insane, dangerous behavior on the Left, our country is headed for disaster. When will Democrats finally admit their rhetoric is the real threat to democracy?
