The Biden era was one giant open door for illegal immigration. One failed policy after another made it easier for criminals to stroll right into our country, abuse our resources, and laugh in the face of law and order. Enter our new Homeland Security secretary, Markwayne Mullin, who actually thought it was a smart idea to order ICE to stop pulling over suspicious vehicles—just because the left couldn’t handle a few “scary” headlines about officer-involved shootings. Apparently, their solution to illegal aliens breaking the law was to just stop enforcing it.
But that reckless world didn’t last for long. President Trump took one look at Mullin’s weak directive and put his foot down, just like America needed. The President made it clear that eliminating one of ICE’s most powerful tools—traffic stops—was a leftist fantasy. It’s exactly what Democrats and their radical buddies want: a country with no boundaries, no accountability, and no consequences for breaking our laws.
Let’s be honest. ICE traffic stops have been critical in getting dangerous criminals off our streets. Some experts say up to a fifth of all deportations start with a simple stop. Remember, we’re not talking about soccer moms on their way to practice—we’re talking about illegal aliens who’ve already broken the law just by being here and in many cases, far worse. Biden’s disastrous open border policies allowed millions to stream in unchecked, putting American families at risk. These new rules aimed to tie the hands of agents who were risking their lives to protect us.
Liberals and globalists argue that restricting traffic stops somehow “protects lives.” This is a blatant cover for their real agenda: mass amnesty by stealth. They only care about the rights of lawbreakers, never about the safety of citizens or the brave men and women in uniform. In their dream world, ICE would exist only on paper, and criminals would have nothing to fear.
President Trump reminded the country that our security comes first. Americans elected him to enforce our laws, not to cave to the anti-ICE mob or play footsie with the radical left. With millions of criminal aliens still hiding in plain sight, now is not the time to let our guard down. Will the left apologize when innocent blood is on their hands? Or will they still claim it was “worth it” to make the criminals feel more comfortable?
It’s simple. Want to make America safe again? Stop listening to liberal sob stories and start supporting real law enforcement. Trump gets it. The left never will.
