It finally happened. The United Nations, the same institution that’s spent years hand-wringing about Israel “oppressing” Gaza, just admitted what conservatives and Israelis have known all along: Hamas has been stealing aid meant for civilians. This isn’t some wild accusation cooked up by the right. This is a fact that even the U.N. can’t ignore anymore—because things have gotten so bad that their own people are getting robbed and attacked in broad daylight.
Let’s be honest: it took the U.N. long enough. They spent months accusing Israel of everything from blocking food to committing “genocide” while pretending Hamas was just some misunderstood group fighting for “freedom.” Meanwhile, brave whistleblowers and ordinary Israelis have shouted about Hamas looting aid trucks, threatening workers, and beating up anyone who stands in their way. The response from the international community? Silence—or worse, open denial.
Now the U.N. plays word games instead of calling Hamas what it is: a ruthless terrorist gang, not just the “de facto authorities.” They’re too scared to say it, but everyone knows the truth. Hamas thugs storm aid warehouses, assault truck drivers, and chase off humanitarians in their own strongholds. It’s not just some one-off mistake. It’s a pattern. It’s how they do business. Aid for starving children in Gaza gets hijacked, stockpiled, or flat-out sold for profit by the people who claim to “represent” them. All while the same left-wing activists and globalist bureaucrats in New York blame Israel for every single bad thing that happens inside Gaza.
Here’s the sick joke: the U.N. still can’t bring itself to put the blame where it belongs. Instead, their statement twists itself in knots, dropping hints about “obstruction” and “smuggling,” and then cramming in more finger-pointing about Israel controlling territory. As if Israel is somehow the reason aid workers are getting threatened and beaten by masked gunmen who answer to Hamas.
This is, plain and simple, the result of years of liberal hand-holding and fantasy-thinking about radical Islamists. The woke western world would rather accuse democracies of “war crimes” than admit their favorite “resistance fighters” are warlords who starve their own people. Funny how the humanitarian crowd suddenly gets shy when the facts get too ugly to ignore.
Maybe next time, before lecturing Israel or America about morality, the U.N. should take a hard look at who their aid actually empowers. Or, then again, maybe they’ll keep ignoring reality until there’s nothing left to deny. After all, you can’t fix stupid—but you can stop funding it.
