It’s another day and, apparently, another ridiculous “celebration” cooked up by the left’s social engineers. Give Something Away Day. Tapioca Pudding Day. Respect Canada Day. Folks, what we really need is Some Common Sense Day. While the left is busy handing out participation trophies and sugary treats, they’re taxing the rich with a vengeance — and destroying whole states in the process.
Let’s not sugarcoat it. Liberal lawmakers drool over the phrase “tax the rich.” It sounds good on a protest sign, but it’s a masterclass in economic self-destruction. The out-of-touch elites in charge think if they just raise taxes on anyone successful, the money will rain down to everyone else. Guess what? It never works. The rich pack up and leave. Businesses close their doors. Jobs disappear faster than a scoop of orange chicken at a food court.
Meanwhile, the people left behind are stuck with higher bills and fewer options. The state coffers dry up. And who do the progressives blame? Never themselves! They point fingers at “corporate greed” or “income inequality.” They ignore the obvious: punishing success chases opportunity far, far away. Instead of building a stronger economy, their “solutions” hand power to the globalists and bureaucrats — the exact people who never miss a steak dinner while lecturing the rest of us about sacrifice.
On a day when we’re apparently supposed to “give something away,” maybe liberals should surrender their failed economic policies. For once, try a recipe for prosperity instead of endless government handouts. Encourage hard work. Lower taxes. Celebrate American achievement, not penalize it.
But don’t expect apologies or common sense. Today’s left would rather invent another phony holiday than admit fault. Would you rather live free…or wait for your next handout while the real producers leave town?
