Are Biden and Newsom about to drive Silicon Valley billionaires into the arms of China and Dubai

America is supposed to be a land where dreamers build, invent, and, yes, get rich. But apparently that’s a problem for left-wing politicians, who now want to punish the very billionaires who put Silicon Valley—and America—on the map. A so-called “billionaire tax” is being pushed by liberal lawmakers, all in the name of fairness. Really, it’s just envy wearing a suit. They want to turn success into a crime.

Look around at the world. China, India, France, even Saudi Arabia—they’re all scrambling to build their own Silicon Valleys. They know innovation brings jobs, growth, and national power. Yet right here at home, our own leaders are on a witch hunt for tech giants. Instead of defending American winners like Elon Musk or Peter Thiel, these politicians would rather drive them away. Are we seriously going to let other countries steal our crown jewels while Washington and Sacramento play Robin Hood for retweets?

Here’s the dirty little secret—these taxes won’t hurt just the billionaires. When government scares away our top innovators, jobs vanish. Research stalls. Our tech advantage slips into the hands of foreign rivals. Middle-class families, investors, and workers are the real losers when the big money walks out the door. Maybe that’s the plan. The left pretends to stand for the working man, but their policies end up hurting regular Americans and helping our rivals abroad.

There’s a word for this kind of thinking: sabotage. Liberal politicians think they can squeeze billionaires and still keep getting all the benefits of their success. It doesn’t work that way. When you punish achievement, you get less of it. When you chase out your best and brightest, the only thing that’s left is mediocrity. If California becomes the place that hunts its billionaires, Silicon Valley will pack up and leave. Good luck building the future when the innovators have moved to Texas or Dubai.

Should America really hand the keys of innovation over to the globalists and big-government fools? Or do we want to stay number one? The war on success has to stop—before the torch of American greatness gets passed to our enemies.
