As Texans drown in flood chaos liberal elites are missing and Americans are left to fend for themselves

But while Texans scramble to deal with nature’s wrath, liberal politicians are nowhere to be found. Where are the so-called champions of the people? Busy playing politics in Washington, obsessed with climate change scare tactics and virtue-signaling about foreign wars.

It’s not hard to see the double standard. When disaster strikes flyover country—Patriotic America, heartland towns—coastal elites shrug their shoulders. The same swollen river that recently flooded Camp Mystic is now on another rampage, yet all the Left wants to talk about is carbon footprints and international climate accords. How about caring for American citizens, right here, right now? Instead, it’s just more empty promises and useless bureaucracy.

Look at what’s happening in Uvalde. Roads are cut off. Residents are stranded. Communities are crying for help. So what does the federal government do? Drag its feet as usual, drowned in red tape and committees. The families impacted are the same folks liberals like to lecture about “privilege.” Where’s their privilege now—fighting for their lives while government officials tour the latest eco-friendly project in Europe?

Let’s not forget, this chaos happened before. Floods at Camp Mystic proved the system is broken, and still, nothing changed. Washington would rather cozy up to global interests and send billions overseas, all while ignoring basic American needs like infrastructure and emergency response. This is why so many Americans have lost trust in big government solutions. When it comes down to it, the only people you can count on are your neighbors—not some distant bureaucrat with a big title and no answers.

How many more warnings will it take before leaders put America first? Maybe liberals will finally care when it’s their vacation homes underwater. Until then, real Texans will have to look out for each other—because help sure won’t come from the top.
